Mariah Angeliq has signed with Pitbull’s independent Miami-based label, Mr. 305 Records, alongside the release of her new single, ‘A La Que Fui’. The move links an artist closely associated with Miami’s Latin music scene to a label with similarly strong local roots, and is intended to support a more personal, vulnerable musical direction.

Born and raised in Miami to Puerto Rican and Cuban parents, Angeliq said the song reflects on leaving behind past relationships, experiences and decisions to begin again. Her 2019 reggaeton breakthrough, ‘Perreito’, was certified double platinum by the RIAA and reached No. 21 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart; she has also collaborated with Karol G on ‘EL MAKINON’.
