RISE AGAINST Releases Two New Singles, ‘Katy Bar The Door’ And ‘Living Undercover’

Blabbermouth · 3 hours ago

Chicago punk band Rise Against has released two new singles, “Katy Bar The Door” and “Living Undercover”, continuing the politically conscious, rebellious approach it says has defined the group for more than 25 years. “Katy Bar The Door” responds to concerns about abuses of power and democratic fragility, while “Living Undercover” examines the hidden things people keep out of view.

Frontman Tim McIlrath said the title “Katy Bar The Door”, an old expression signalling imminent trouble, felt relevant to life in 2026; he wrote the song after violent ICE raids in Minneapolis. Both tracks were recorded at The Blasting Room, and arrive ahead of a US headline tour beginning in Dallas on 22 September with Alkaline Trio, while the band currently supports Jimmy Eat World in the UK.
