Megan Thee Stallion has signed a distribution partnership with Interscope Records for her independent label, Hot Girl Productions. The deal gives her Interscope’s global distribution and strategic support while allowing her to retain ownership of her masters and publishing, reflecting artists’ growing efforts to preserve creative and commercial control.

The 31-year-old rapper is leaving Warner Music Group after a similar arrangement begun in February 2024, and teased that her forthcoming Act: III album is approaching. Her 2024 album Megan debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 with 64,000 album-equivalent units; she has since earned her first Diamond certification for “WAP” and has three US number-one singles.
