Kelly Osbourne has criticised Dee Snider for comments she said diminished the musical legacy of her late father, Ozzy Osbourne. The dispute centres on Ozzy’s songwriting role in Black Sabbath and his solo career, with Kelly arguing that his achievements as a musician, singer, songwriter and bandleader are clear to fans and collaborators.

Snider wrote on X that Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler wrote all the band’s lyrics, while bassist Bob Daisley wrote lyrics for Ozzy’s first two solo albums and Lemmy Kilmister also contributed. He suggested that Sharon Osbourne did not share credit fairly, prompting Kelly to accuse him of making classless allegations about someone unable to respond and to contrast Twisted Sister’s commercial record with Ozzy’s enduring influence.
