‘Doctor Who’ Reunion Is Officially Happening in Steven Moffat’s New 6-Part Series

Collider · 5 hours ago

Steven Moffat and Jenna Coleman, who worked together on Doctor Who, will reunite on Number 10, a new six-part Channel 4 comedy-drama about life inside the Prime Minister’s official residence and office. The project matters as it brings together prominent Doctor Who alumni for Moffat’s first Channel 4 series, while moving him into a fictionalised political workplace setting rather than science fiction.

Coleman will play Deputy Chief of Staff Katie Flynn, alongside Katherine Kelly as Chief of Staff Frances Telford and Rafe Spall as fictional Prime Minister Harry Douglas. The series will avoid identifying the governing party and is described as a comedy-drama focused on governmental, personal and romantic pressures; its supporting cast includes Laura Haddock, Akshay Khanna and Robyn Cara. It is produced by Hartswood Films, led by Moffat’s wife Sue Vertue, and follows Coleman’s notable Doctor Who role as Clara Oswald.

  • Moffat and Coleman reunite for Channel 4’s Number 10.
  • The six-part drama follows fictional Downing Street staff.
  • Rafe Spall plays the fictional Prime Minister.
