Craig Carton to Launch New Show on Fox’s Outkick
Craig Carton, the veteran New York sportscaster, is launching a new national programme with Fox's Outkick sports-media outlet, marking a fresh chapter in his career alongside his existing radio work. "The Craig Carton Show" will debut on Outkick on 8 September, airing three days a week and combining Carton's commentary on sports and culture with guest interviews, while he continues to host WFAN's "Afternoon Drive".
Carton previously co-hosted WFAN's long-running "Boomer & Carton" for a decade and had been running a daily podcast of the same new show's name for Fox Sports and Red Seat Ventures. Outkick, founded in 2011 by Clay Travis and bought by Fox Corp in 2021, is known for opinionated sports commentary and has recently been folded into Fox News Media's digital division after Travis stepped back from running it earlier this year; the Carton hire fits Fox's broader push to bring creators and influencers, such as the "Ruthless" podcast, into its stable.
