American metal band Butcher Babies have announced their new album "Nightbloom", due for release on 2 October via Judge & Jury Records. The album marks a significant creative milestone for the group, with frontwoman Heidi Shepherd describing it as emerging from a period of intense personal therapy during which she confronted years of suppressed trauma, including divorce, betrayal and grief, transforming those experiences into songwriting.

The record was produced by Howard Benson, known for his work with My Chemical Romance, Skillet, Daughtry and Halestorm, with Joe Rickard, Neil Sanderson and Henry Flury serving as co-producers. Its lead single, "Blame It On The Wind", has been released alongside an official music video and is reportedly gaining strong traction at rock radio, including support from SiriusXM Octane, ahead of the full album's autumn release.
