Remi Wolf Announces New Album Mud
Remi Wolf has announced her third studio album, Mud, set for release on 9th October via Island Records, with new single "Bottle" due out this Thursday, 20th August. The announcement follows the earlier lead single "Twiggy" and marks a significant new chapter for the singer, who has said the record has been personally transformative after an intense period of touring, writing and recording.
The eleven-track album was shaped by early sessions in Nashville before finding its "spiritual centre" during a retreat to Big Bear with longtime collaborator Jared Solomon and other trusted contributors including Jack DeMeo, Jamie McLaughlin and Gigi Grombacher. Wolf described the process as cleansing, saying she felt she had "crossed into a new phase of life" through making it. Mud follows her 2024 album Big Ideas, which featured on Consequence's best-of-year list, continuing a run of acclaim that began with her 2021 debut Juno.
