Consequence · 3 hours ago

A tour titled "The Music of Hey Arnold! Live" has been announced to mark the 30th anniversary of the Nickelodeon animated series, with show composer Jim Lang leading his band, the PS118 AllStars, through 20 dates across the United States. The tour matters to fans of the show as it combines Lang's original score—drawing on jazz, hip-hop, blues, R&B and funk—with multimedia visuals and behind-the-scenes stories, and comes amid reports that talks of a full series revival are under way with Nickelodeon's owner, Paramount.

The tour begins on 26th October in Pioneertown, California, and closes on 2nd December in Los Angeles, taking in cities including New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston and Philadelphia along the way. Series creator Craig Bartlett will make a special guest appearance during the shows. Artist pre-sale tickets go on sale on Wednesday 19th August at 10am local time, with general on-sale following on Friday 21st August, both via Ticketmaster and the tour's official website. Hey Arnold! originally aired from 1996 to 2004 and spawned two films.
