‘My Life With The Walter Boys’ Quietly Returns To Netflix For Season 3; Shane Gillis Comedy ‘Tires’ Gets A Boost

Deadline · 3 hours ago

"My Life With The Walter Boys" has returned to Netflix for a third season with relatively little fanfare, and while it has again topped the streamer's weekly English-language TV chart, viewership is trending below the previous season. This matters because it suggests the teen drama's popularity may be cooling even as Netflix has already confirmed a fourth season, which is currently in production.

The show topped the charts for the week of 10-16 August with 8.7 million views, down from 9 million in its opening weekend, and well below Season 2's opening haul of 11.8 million views (itself up 57% on Season 1's 7.5 million). Elsewhere, Shane Gillis's sitcom "Tires" enjoyed a stronger third-season debut, entering the Top 10 at No. 9 with 2.4 million views globally and rising to third place in the US with 2 million views, a 33% jump on Season 2. Harlan Coben's "I Will Find You" also continued to perform well, ranking seventh weekly with 2.7 million views and eighth on Netflix's overall most-popular list with 112.9 million views over nine weeks.

  • Walter Boys Season 3 tops Netflix charts but trails Season 2's numbers
  • Season 4 already confirmed and in production
  • Shane Gillis's Tires sees a stronger Season 3 debut than before
