The Pixel 11 isn’t the best Pixel of 2026, but it’s the smartest buy

The Verge · 2 hours ago

The Verge's review of the Google Pixel 11 argues that, while it is not the standout device in Google's 2026 lineup, it represents the best value among the three new Pixel models. Positioned between the budget Pixel 10A and the premium Pixel 11 Pro, the standard Pixel 11 matches the Pro's performance for $200 less, while offering meaningfully more than the cheaper 10A, making it the most sensible choice for most buyers rather than the most exciting one.

The Pixel 11 starts at $899 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, matching the base Pixel 11 Pro's Tensor G6 chip and memory despite costing less. Compared with the $400 cheaper Pixel 10A, it adds a faster processor, more storage, Qi2 wireless charging at up to 25W, and a telephoto lens. Hardware is largely unchanged from last year's Pixel 10 aside from new colours and a slimmer camera bar, with Google instead focusing on exclusive software features such as Camera Looks and Magic Capture, and a still-unfinished "Proactive Assistance" tool, to justify the higher starting price driven by rising memory costs industry-wide.
