Watch Yungblud crowdsurf in a wheelchair after breaking his leg

NME · 3 hours ago

Yungblud has returned to the stage after breaking his leg in a motorbike accident, performing at a Portuguese festival and crowdsurfing while sat in a wheelchair. The 28-year-old singer, real name Dominic Harrison, had confirmed via social media that despite the injury he would still honour his upcoming European festival commitments, and footage shows him keeping up his signature crowd-diving move during his song "Fleabag" at the show.

Speaking afterwards, Harrison thanked fans and his team for helping him through the gig, admitting he was in pain but determined to carry on, with a performance at Belgium's Pukkelpop festival next on the schedule. He also revealed he has torn ligaments in his knee and plans to undergo surgery once his current run of shows concludes, ahead of touring again next year in support of his double album "Idols".
