HBO’s Best Thriller Series Just Scored a ‘Silo’ Star
HBO's acclaimed financial drama Industry has added several notable names to the cast of its fifth and final season, including Silo actress Jessica Brown Findlay. The series, created by former investment bankers Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, has grown steadily in popularity, and its ratings success this year prompted HBO to commission one last season to bring the story to a close.
Season four became the show's highest-rated premiere, drawing over 800,000 cross-platform viewers in its first three days and climbing to 1.1 million for a later episode. New season five cast members include Cary Elwes as investor Padgett Stillman, Dianna Agron as tech CFO Skip Binksy, Sam Riley as businessman Solomon Kerr, and Jessica Brown Findlay as Marina, alongside Luke Manley, Baby Gill and Eduard Poliakov. HBO boss Casey Bloys said five seasons felt like "a really good run" when explaining the decision to end the show.
