Christian Zionists take on anti-Israel ‘propaganda’ from biblical heartland
A Christian Zionist organisation called The Israel Guys, formerly known as HaYovel, has opened a large new visitors centre in the West Bank settlement of Har Bracha in Samaria. The group's chief executive, Joshua Waller, is encouraging Christians to visit Israel and the West Bank themselves rather than rely on what he describes as anti-Israel "propaganda", framing the centre as a way to let visitors form their own impressions of the region firsthand.
The Israel Guys says it has spent almost two decades bringing more than 5,000 volunteers from 35 countries to the area to help develop what it calls the Land of Israel, including work on farms across Judea and Samaria. The newly inaugurated centre in Har Bracha, opened last month, is intended to serve as a hub for further volunteer and visitor activity promoting the organisation's Christian Zionist mission in the biblical heartland.
