Netflix and AMC have formally announced a partnership on the spy thriller 'Bannerman,' representing the first series jointly developed and distributed by both networks. Screenwriter Shane Black and showrunner Craig Silverstein co-created the project, which will premiere on AMC in North America before becoming available on Netflix's platform following a three-month exclusivity window.

Maxim's critically acclaimed espionage novels, the series centres on a highly trained covert operative who convinces an elite group of international assassins to abandon their profession and pursue ordinary lives in Connecticut suburbs.
