EDDIE VEDDER Releases Official ‘Better Believe’ Music Video
Eddie Vedder has released the official music video for "Better Believe," a collaborative track created with The Obama Foundation and young musicians from the Chicago non-profit Guitars Over Guns. The video documents how the song came together and its live premiere at the dedication of the Obama Presidential Center on 18 June, matching established artists with emerging talent from the youth arts organisation.
The song was recorded at Columbia College Chicago, bringing together Audio Arts students and alumni with Guitars Over Guns musicians, a collaboration overseen by Andre "Add-2" Daniels. It was co-written by Vedder alongside eight other contributors and produced by a team including Andrew Watt, with mastering by Randy Merrill at Sterling Sound. All royalties from the track will go to Guitars Over Guns, which uses music and mentorship to support young people, and the release follows Pearl Jam's most recent album, "Dark Matter," which came out in April 2024.
