Fontaines D.C. have announced two headline shows in the United States this autumn, playing Brooklyn's Kings Theater on 21 September and Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on 25 September. The dates follow the announcement of the Irish band's fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, due for release on 16 October, and slot in between their appearances at New Jersey's Sea.Hear.Now festival and California's Ohana Fest.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale on Tuesday 25 August at 10am local time, with fans able to register for access by 6pm ET on Monday 24 August; general sale follows on Friday 28 August at 10am local time via Ticketmaster. The announcement comes as the band unveiled "Marianne", the lead single from Dopamine Chamber, which they also performed live during the final-ever BBC Maida Vale session this week.
