Robbie Williams to Perform at Australia’s Melbourne Cup Day
Robbie Williams will perform at the 2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday 3 November, the Victoria Racing Club has announced, giving the British singer a warm-up appearance ahead of his Australian arena tour. The booking places him at one of Australia's biggest sporting and social events, with organisers describing his mounting yard set as the largest pre-Cup performance ever staged at Flemington Racecourse.
Williams will headline the Elms Live Stage after the final race, then perform again in the mounting yard as part of the Nine Network broadcast, immediately before the Cup trophy presentation; both sets are included in general admission. The appearance comes amid a strong run for Williams, whose 13th album Britpop debuted at number one in the UK earlier this year, making him the outright record-holder for UK number one albums with 16, ahead of the Beatles' 15. His Australian and New Zealand dates form part of the wider Britpop stadium tour, with support acts including The Lottery Winners and G Flip, while Melbourne Cup Carnival runs across four days from 31 October to 7 November.
