Man charged with murder after woman, 31, dies falling from height
A 54-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a 31-year-old woman who died after falling from a height in Southwark, southeast London. Mohammed Sherif, of Rowcross Street, was charged following the death of Kerry Ann Goodbrand and was due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on the same day.
Police were called to Rowcross Street at around 2.50pm after reports of a woman falling from a height, with London Ambulance Service also attending; Ms Goodbrand was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, while Detective Chief Superintendent Emma Bond said inquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing and residents will see an increased police presence in the area.
