ITV2 has appointed former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler and podcaster GK Barry to co-host Big Brother: The Group Chat, a new companion programme replacing Big Brother: Late & Live. The change matters because it brings a past housemate’s experience and a prominent fan voice to the franchise’s discussion show as ITV continues developing its revived Big Brother format.

The programme will launch alongside Big Brother UK’s 23rd series in autumn 2026 and air from Sunday to Thursday after the main show. It will be available on ITV2, ITVX, YouTube and podcast platforms, featuring interviews with evicted housemates, celebrity fans and guests; Late & Live had been presented by AJ Odudu and Will Best since the show returned to ITV2 in 2023.
