Two reported sightings in south-west Pennsylvania described small, hairy, human-like creatures moving on two legs, referred to by a local researcher as “mini-Bigfoots”. The accounts have attracted attention because they occurred on consecutive nights in an area with a history of Bigfoot and UFO reports, although there is no evidence linking them to earlier claims or verifying the latest sightings.

The first report, from Indiana County on 18 August, involved two creatures estimated at about 3½ feet tall, while a Westmoreland County driver reported a single creature about five feet tall the following evening. Witnesses described brown or charcoal-grey hair, little or no visible neck and dark eyes; neither produced photographs, recordings or physical evidence, and the sightings remain unverified.
