HBO Max and NFL Films will revive the offseason version of Hard Knocks next year, broadening its focus from one club to an entire NFL division. The move reflects growing audience interest in how teams build rosters and could offer a wider view of the league’s decision-making between seasons.

The format first appeared in 2024, following the New York Giants through free agency, the scouting combine and the NFL Draft, including Saquon Barkley’s departure for the Philadelphia Eagles. The new series will be filmed after the 2026 season, with the featured division yet to be announced; meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks are starring in the current training-camp edition and the New England Patriots will feature next year.
