Hull FC winger Tom Briscoe will retire from rugby league at the end of the season, bringing a 19-year playing career to a close. The 36-year-old’s final appearance is set to come against former club Leeds Rhinos at Headingley, giving his retirement particular significance after a career that included major domestic honours.

Briscoe began at Hull in 2008 and has scored 232 tries in 471 appearances so far, including 17 tries in 64 matches since returning in April 2024. During eight seasons with Leeds he won two Super League Grand Finals and three Challenge Cups, before adding another Challenge Cup with Leigh Leopards in 2023.
