Netflix will release its adaptation of Christina Lauren’s novel In A Holidaze on 2 December. The romantic comedy follows Maelyn Jones, a dissatisfied twentysomething who becomes stuck reliving Christmas after a major romantic mistake, and marks another book-to-screen project from Alloy Entertainment’s first-look agreement with Netflix.

The film is written and directed by Tiffany Paulsen and stars Maddie Ziegler, Rob Lowe, Graham Phillips and Elias Kacavas, with Patton Oswalt, Jackie Sandler, Gil Bellows and Andrea Anders also appearing. The novel was published in 2020; Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton are producing, while Lowe is an executive producer.
