An Oklahoma City eviction call escalated into a dangerous confrontation after deputies said tenant Darron Dunn allegedly used an aerosol can and flame as a makeshift flamethrower against officers entering his barricaded flat. The incident, captured on body-camera footage, prompted an evacuation and a bomb-squad response because officers also found wired aerosol cans connected near a car battery.

Deputies arrived on 11 August to serve an eviction order and found the door obstructed by cables and an electric wheelchair. Authorities said flames travelled about 15 feet towards a deputy, while bomb technicians later concluded the wired device was unlikely to explode as configured, though exposed wires could have sparked or heated; Dunn faces charges including assault with a dangerous weapon and offences involving an incendiary device.
