New Star Trek Release Officially Confirmed for 2026
Star Trek’s 60th anniversary will be marked on 8 September 2026 with international events, television specials and cinema screenings. The celebrations underline the franchise’s continuing cultural reach six decades after its television debut, spanning fans, broadcasters, museums, theme parks and even the International Space Station.
Four Star Trek films will return to cinemas from 4 to 8 September alongside related Original Series episodes, while Strange New Worlds’ fourth season is due to conclude on Paramount+ on 24 September. Other plans include a second season of preschool animation Star Trek: Scouts, Star Trek-themed editions of US game shows, the restoration of Gene Roddenberry’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star, a Vulcan-salute world-record attempt led by London’s Science Museum, and an ESA astronaut wearing a Starfleet badge in orbit.
