A 73-year-old camper, Craig K. Streeter, has been missing for more than three weeks after his empty RV was found at a remote campsite in New York’s Adirondack Mountains. The case has prompted a multi-agency search because Streeter, who is known to spend short periods off the grid, has not contacted anyone for an unusually long time.

Streeter, from Mahopac, was last seen on 2 August at a Stewart’s Shop in Indian Lake, leaving in his RV while wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and jeans. Forest Rangers found the vehicle at campsite 36 on Moose River Road in Inlet with no sign of recent activity; police say there is currently no indication of foul play and are seeking information from people who travelled or camped nearby.
