Camila Perez is set to reprise her role as young Angie Valdes in Starz’s forthcoming prequel series Power: Origins, according to Deadline sources. The casting reconnects the spinoff with the original Power, in which Lela Loren played Angie as a federal prosecutor and childhood sweetheart of James “Ghost” St. Patrick.

Power: Origins will explore the early lives of Ghost, Tommy and Kanan as ambitious young figures in New York City. Its first season, filmed in New York and New Jersey, has completed production; it is the fourth Power spinoff, while a separate fifth series, Power: Legacy, has also been commissioned.
