Netflix’s sci-fi thriller *The Last House* has reached roughly 72 million views in its first three weeks, despite poor critical reviews. Its performance suggests the film’s high-concept survival premise and prominent cast have continued to attract a global audience, even after it lost Netflix’s weekly number-one position.

The film recorded 27 million views in its first week, 33 million in its second and 12 million during 17–23 August, alongside more than 130 million viewing hours overall. Directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Greta Lee and Wagner Moura, it follows a family trapped at home after a mysterious rainstorm; it would need about 140 million views to approach Netflix’s all-time top ten, while its Rotten Tomatoes score stands at 28%.
