Streaming services are adding a mix of new seasons, international thrillers, documentaries and older programmes for the 28–30 August weekend. The main releases include FX’s comedy Adults, Apple TV’s science-fiction drama Dark Matter and Netflix’s Korean thriller Mousetrap, offering viewers both weekly releases and complete box sets.

Adults returns for a second season, following twenty-something flatmates in Queens, with episodes released on Thursdays; Dark Matter’s second season begins on Friday and continues physicist Jason Dessen’s multiverse story beyond Blake Crouch’s novel. Netflix will also release all episodes of Mousetrap on Friday, while its catalogue gains Revival and all seven seasons of SEAL Team; other available titles include the Mica Miller documentary Death of a Pastor’s Wife, a second season of a British cyber-misinformation thriller, and the sitcom Leanne.
