Schoolboy, 14, allegedly inspired by Hitler denies plotting double mosque rampage ‘he planned to carry out today’, court told

Daily Mail · 4 hours ago

A 14-year-old boy has denied allegations that he prepared terrorist attacks targeting two mosques in Sutton, south London. Prosecutors say the alleged attacks were planned for 28 August and that the case is particularly serious because it involved an alleged plan to target Muslim worshippers.

The boy, who cannot be named, is accused of preparing terrorist acts and racially aggravated criminal damage. Police reportedly found material indicating extreme right-wing beliefs after arresting him over damage to a car; prosecutors allege he had written a manifesto and described the damage as a trial run. He was remanded in custody, with a plea hearing expected in November and a trial listed for 15 March next year.
