June McDoom’s new single, Without You, is highlighted alongside the week’s other notable releases. The New York-based songwriter blends traditional folk harmonies with synths, harp and piano, creating an intimate but otherworldly sound shaped by her Jamaican musical heritage.

The track precedes McDoom’s debut album Follow the Light, due on 16 October via Jagjaguwar. Other selections include new songs from Betty Hammerschlag, Sylvan Esso, Underscores, Sofii, Sarah Meth, Jeshi and Boy Harsher.
