Liverpool agree £123m deal for PSG’s Barcola
Liverpool have agreed a deal worth up to £123m to sign Paris St-Germain forward Bradley Barcola, subject to a medical and a long-term contract. The proposed transfer would strengthen Liverpool’s attack after the departures of Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah, while potentially increasing uncertainty over Cody Gakpo’s future.
The package comprises £106m upfront and up to £17m in add-ons, below PSG’s initial £145m valuation and potentially a record fee for a player leaving Ligue 1. Barcola, 23, joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 for about £38.5m and has won major domestic and European honours; he can play across the front line and scored three World Cup goals for France this summer.
