To mark what would have been Agatha Christie's 136th birthday next month, several adaptations inspired by her work are on the way, including a new "intimate study" of Hercule Poirot starring Edward Bluemel and BritBox's 10-part series The Detection Club, featuring Christie herself as a character. Alongside these, David Ayer's 2014 action thriller Sabotage, an unofficial take on Christie's "And Then There Were None" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, is set to become available on free streaming, giving fans another way to mark the occasion.

In Sabotage, Schwarzenegger plays a veteran DEA agent forced to investigate the one-by-one killing of his own team, echoing the mystery structure of Christie's novel; the film's original title, Ten, was itself a nod to the book. The film will be available to stream for free on Plex from 1 September 2026, alongside other Christie-themed releases such as Hercule and The Detection Club, which stars Bryony Hannah as Christie, Miles Jupp as G.K. Chesterton and Cara Theobold as Dorothy L. Sayers.
