Pete Doherty has spoken to NME about the success of Babyshambles' reunion tour, teased a possible new Libertines album, and revealed his ambition to open a second-hand shop in France. The band reunited last year for their first shows in over a decade, a run overshadowed by the death of original guitarist Patrick Walden, and closed the tour with a December show at London's KOKO where Carl Barât joined them onstage and they played 'Wolfman' for the first time in 20 years.

Doherty said the tour exceeded expectations and paid tribute to Walden throughout, with a live album, 'Live At KOKO', due for release on 9 October via his label Strap Originals. He also confirmed Babyshambles have new material in the works, though it remains unclear whether songs will go to the 'Shambles or The Libertines, whose follow-up to 'All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade' is reportedly also taking shape. Babyshambles were set to headline Dreamland in Margate on Sunday 30 August, supported by Big Special and Warmduscher.
