Anya Taylor-Joy has revealed that her performance as a sniper in the Apple TV production "The Gorge" drew heavily on the music of the Sex Pistols, alongside training in handling firearms. Speaking to Vogue, the actor explained that the punk band's swagger and defiance shaped how her character moved and viewed the world, while learning to arm and disarm a weapon added authenticity to the role. The revelation offers an insight into her preparation methods as she continues to build a reputation as one of the most sought-after actors of her generation.

Taylor-Joy starred opposite Sigourney Weaver in "The Gorge" and has also recently appeared in the Apple TV heist miniseries "Lucky". Her upcoming projects include the lead role in "Dune: Part III", released on 18th December, as well as "Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum" alongside Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood, and a Netflix series titled "How to Kill Your Family". These roles follow a string of acclaimed performances in films including "The Northman", "The Menu" and "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga".
