Ireland closed out the 2026 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam with two silver medals on the final day, taking their overall tally to one gold and two silvers and placing them seventh in the medal table. Belfast's Konan Pazzaia and Margaret Cremen finished second in the mixed double sculls behind the Netherlands, while Fiona Murtagh narrowly missed defending her world single sculls title, taking silver behind Great Britain's Lauren Henry.

Cremen picked up her second medal of the championships, having already won gold in the women's double sculls with Zoe Hyde on Friday, while Pazzaia's silver came after his men's quad sculls crew had been eliminated in the heats earlier in the week. Murtagh was beaten to gold by Henry in a reversal of last year's result, with Olympic champion Karolien Florijn of the Netherlands taking bronze. The hosts topped the medal table with four golds, three silvers and a bronze, while Great Britain finished fifth after Hannah Scott and Finnola Stratton added silver in the women's quad sculls.
