Kelley Wolf, the estranged wife of actor Scott Wolf, has publicly apologised to her husband and their three children more than a year after she was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in Utah. In an Instagram post, she revealed she had since been diagnosed with "breakthrough drug-induced mania with psychosis," which she attributed to stress, past trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens and prescribed medication, and said she had experienced delusions including believing she was in the CIA and running for president.

Kelley and Scott, star of "Party of Five," announced the end of their 21-year marriage in June 2025, days before she was detained by police after making concerning comments. Scott had subsequently accused her of planning "baseless and incredibly dangerous" false allegations against him during the divorce, and a July 2025 court agreement gave him temporary sole physical custody of their children, Jackson, 17, Miller, 13, and Lucy Marie, 12, with Kelley granted supervised visitation. In her post, Kelley said her illness caused "profound harm" not based in reality, told her family "my brain turned on me," and thanked them for not giving up on her; Scott responded with supportive heart emojis in the comments.
