Fontaines DC announce huge Slane Castle show: here’s everything you need to know
Fontaines DC have announced a major homecoming show at Slane Castle in County Meath, Ireland, set for 26 June 2027. The Irish rock band's biggest headline show to date follows a triumphant festival weekend in which they headlined both Reading and Leeds and Electric Picnic, and comes as they build towards the release of their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, on 16 October.
The 80,000-capacity Slane Castle gig will see the band supported by Paramore's Hayley Williams, Damien Dempsey and Madra Salach, with further acts still to be confirmed. It marks Fontaines DC's first announced date of 2027 and notably falls during the same week as Glastonbury 2027. The show follows last week's announcement of a UK and European tour, which includes stops in Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and London this November. Presale tickets for Slane Castle open on 1 September at 10am local time, with general sale following on 3 September at 10am.
