Loudersound's weekly Tracks Of The Week column returns with eight new picks for 31 August 2026, spanning classic rock, Americana, folk, punk and psychedelic influences. The feature follows the previous week's contest, won by Swedish neo-psychedelic rockers Graveyard, with Joanne Shaw Taylor and Girish & The Chronicles taking second and third; readers are again invited to vote for their favourite from this week's selection at the end of the article.

The line-up includes Grace Potter's "Main Street U.S.A" from her new album Trespasser, a live-flavoured single from Osborne Brothers-adjacent act The Osbornes' Watertown sessions, and the reunited Temperance Movement's "Always Been Love" from their forthcoming record New Promise Land Incorporated. Also featured are Queens Of The Stone Age with a reflective new single about distance and loss, Welsh skate-rocker Kit Trigg with an environmentally themed track tied to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, and Maryland riff-rockers Clutch with "The Drifter Returns", their first new material since 2022's Sunrise On Slaughter Beach, with no album yet announced.
