Zack Snyder's new drama-thriller "The Last Photograph" will have its world premiere at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday 13 September. The film follows an ex-DEA agent seeking revenge in the South American jungle, and marks another high-profile project from Snyder, who is best known for DC titles such as "Man of Steel", "Batman v Superman" and the "Justice League" Snyder Cut, as well as "300" and "Watchmen".

The screening takes place at 6.30pm local time at TIFF's new John Bassett Theatre venue at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Snyder directed the film and co-wrote it with Kurt Johnstad, with a cast including Stuart Martin, Fra Fee, Jackie Kay, Costanza Andrade, Carolina Henao and Marlon Moreno. The premiere is part of a packed TIFF 2026 line-up running 10-20 September, which also features Peter Farrelly's Sylvester Stallone biopic "I Play Rocky", Chris Rock's industry drama "Misty Green", and closes with the racing drama "Villeneuve: The Rise of a Legend" on 19 September.
