Howard Stern is scaling back his SiriusXM show to once a week while launching a new streaming version on HBO Max, marking a significant shift in his broadcasting routine after more than two decades on the platform. The move follows a new three-year contract with SiriusXM, ending months of speculation about his possible retirement or show cancellation, and pairs his long-running radio format with a fresh video presence on streaming.

Stern returns to SiriusXM on 14 September with a single live show airing on Mondays, down from two per week, while The Howard Stern Show debuts on HBO Max on 17 September, with new episodes released each Thursday. As part of the shake-up, his Howard 101 channel is being retired, with his content consolidating onto Channel 100, while Andy Cohen's Radio Andy moves to Channel 101. SiriusXM is also refreshing Stern's Howard 100 channel with a new Wrap Up Wednesday segment and expanding its app with a "Howard Stern Decades" archive spanning his content from the 1980s through the 2010s.
