Gabriel Brawn, the Maine man who became internationally known in 2020 for sawing his neighbour's garage in half during a bitter boundary dispute, has revealed he has also since gone through a divorce, losing his childhood home to his ex-wife Tracy. Brawn, 49, moved out of the Dover-Foxcroft property following their split in 2023, while Tracy reportedly remains living next to the still-unrepaired garage he severed more than six years ago, with Brawn now in a relationship with a new partner, Samantha.

The original feud began after Brawn's friendly neighbour Steve Ritter died and the property passed to his son Blake, who disputed the boundary line. Brawn used a Sawzall to cut the garage cleanly in two, prompting Ritter to sue him and Tracy in 2021 for roughly $450,000 in punitive damages plus $35,000 in repair and clean-up costs. The case was dismissed in early 2022 after both parties agreed to mediation, and Brawn now says he paid nothing and faced no legal consequences, insisting he has no regrets and would do it again.
