Marvel Snap is launching a new season called AXIS: Inversion in September 2026, which will introduce nine new cards flipping the roles of well-known heroes and villains. The theme draws on Marvel's multiverse concept to imagine characters such as Tony Stark turning bad, while villains like Magneto and Carnage are reimagined as forces for good, offering players fresh takes on familiar characters and card abilities.

Alongside the new cards, the season will bring new playable locations and Twitch drops offering a Premium Mystery Variant and other rewards. The popular Draft mode is also set to return later in the month, on 28 September, accompanied by a revised scoring system. Together, these additions suggest a content-heavy month for the game, with weekly updates planned throughout the season.
