Christine Boylan Strikes First-Look Deal With Paramount TV Studios

Deadline · 12 hours ago

Paramount Television Studios has signed a first-look deal with writer and producer Christine Boylan, who will develop and produce original series for the studio. The move follows Paramount's recent overall deal with Rafe Judkins, creator of Amazon's The Wheel of Time, and reflects the studio's broader push to strengthen its genre television output under the David Ellison-led company.

Boylan is best known as a writer and executive producer on Netflix's live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender, and has genre credits including Marvel's The Punisher and Cloak & Dagger, as well as Peacock's Poker Face. She joins a growing roster of Paramount talent with existing deals, including the Duffer Brothers, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, Issa Rae, Jon M. Chu, and Yellowjackets creators Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. Boylan is represented by WME, Art/Work Entertainment and Paul Hastings LLP.
