Virginia-based musician James Goodson, who records as Dazy, has announced a second career-spanning compilation, MAXIMUMBLASTSUPERLOUD Vol. 2: 24 Songs From 2023-2026, due for release on 23rd October via Lame-O Records. The project follows a similar 2021 collection covering Dazy's first year and helps chart the prolific songwriter's evolution since his sole studio album, 2022's OUTOFBODY, as he has continued releasing tracks in small batches rather than full-length records.

The new compilation features seven previously unreleased songs, including lead single "Beat Change", a sprawling, psychedelic five-and-a-half-minute rock track described as his longest and most ambitious to date, touching on themes of ageing and mortality. The 24-track release also gathers recent singles such as "BIG Problem" and "Gravity", and its announcement coincides with a US and Canadian tour supporting Militarie Gun, running from 6th September to 15th October.
