The estate of Dolly Parton has announced DollyFest, a series of celebrations in Nashville, Tennessee and London to honour the country music legend, who died on 25 August after a brief battle with cancer. The Nashville event had originally been planned as a multi-artist show for Parton's 80th birthday in January 2026, at which she intended to perform and host, but it was postponed after her health declined last year; it has now been reworked into a larger, two-weekend festival spanning both cities.

Danny Nozell, founder and chief executive of CTK Enterprises, said DollyFest had long been "a dream of Dolly's" and that the venue and announcement were already prepared before her illness intervened. He said the festival, described as "the party of a lifetime she wanted to share with the world," is being planned for 2027 as an alternative to a traditional memorial, which Parton reportedly did not want, and is intended to give fans and artists worldwide time to grieve and to celebrate her legacy on her own terms.
