Jon Bon Jovi has issued full refunds to fans who attended his 23 July concert at Madison Square Garden, which was cut short after a health issue forced him to stop performing. The gesture, confirmed to Fox News Digital via a Ticketmaster email more than a month after the incident, comes after the singer battled a sinus infection that prevented him finishing the show, with Train frontman Pat Monahan stepping in to help before the performance was ended entirely.

The show, night eight of a nine-date residency, lasted around 90 minutes and included roughly 15 songs, compared with the two-hour, 19-song sets fans had come to expect from the residency. Monahan, who was in the audience as a fan rather than a scheduled performer, took over vocals partway through "Livin' on a Prayer" before Bon Jovi decided to end the concert. Ticketmaster's email said primary ticket purchasers would receive automatic refunds within 14 business days, noting that scheduling and logistics meant an additional make-up performance could not be offered.
