Forest forward Hutchinson joins AC Milan on loan
Omari Hutchinson has joined AC Milan on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest, with the Italian club holding an option to sign him permanently once the deal ends. The move ends a difficult spell for the forward at the City Ground, where he had made only 17 Premier League starts under four different managers last season and had featured just once so far this campaign, in a League Cup defeat by Leeds United.
Hutchinson joined Forest for £37.5m from Ipswich Town a year ago, having helped the Tractor Boys win promotion to the Premier League after his loan there was made permanent. He came through the youth ranks at Chelsea before a spell at Arsenal, returning to Stamford Bridge in 2022 for two senior appearances. He was part of the England Under-21 side that won the 2025 European Championship and will wear the number 20 shirt for the seven-time European champions.
