The first-ever Bassmaster Randy Moss Pro Football Hall of Fame Pro-Am concluded on Monday on the St. Lawrence River in Clayton, New York, with former NFL linebacker Rickey Jackson claiming the title rather than the tournament's namesake, Randy Moss. The event, held for the first time, paired eight Pro Football Hall of Famers with eight Bassmaster Elite professional anglers for a single day of competitive fishing, blending two sporting worlds and generating plenty of light-hearted rivalry among the football veterans.

Jackson, a Super Bowl XXIX-winning linebacker partnered with two-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier John Garrett, won with a catch weighing 21 pounds 10 ounces, likening the victory to winning the Super Bowl. Joe Thomas and partner Jay Przekurat finished a close second at 21 pounds 5 ounces after a week of trash-talking Moss, while offensive lineman Kevin Mawae took third at 20 pounds 6 ounces. Packers legend Dave Robinson finished fourth despite trying to bait his hook with beef jerky, with Ronde Barber and Robert Brazile rounding out the top six places.
